Kanna 20x extract

What is Kanna?

Kanna 20x extract is a highly concentrated form of Sceletium tortuosum, a small succulent that grows in the dry parts of South Africa. Because it is twenty times denser than ordinary dried leaf, only a small measured amount is needed. The 1-gram pack is easy to dose accurately. Stir 150 mg into a cup of hot water and leave it to steep for ten minutes.

Indigenous communities used the plant for generations. At a modest serving it can feel gently brightening; at a fuller amount it may feel more softening. This extract is suited to people who prefer a clear, small serving over a larger quantity of whole herb. Whole-leaf powder and other strengths are usually sold separately.

The product is intended for informed adults. Effects differ from person to person. Begin with the stated 150 mg serving, give the tea time to develop, and do not combine it with medicines or other stimulants. Keep the pack in a cool, dark place.

History of Kanna

Sceletium tortuosum is a low succulent native to South Africa’s drier landscapes. For centuries, Khoekhoe and San communities chewed the fermented or dried plant on journeys, during gatherings, and in moments when ease was wanted. Dutch settlers later named the chew kougoed. Written European accounts became more common in the nineteenth century, which is why many modern descriptions start there, even though the plant’s use is much older.

It was valued for its effect on mood, thirst, and a steady social feeling rather than as a strong intoxicant. Knowledge of the plant stayed local long before dried material reached shops abroad. Some traditional preparations used fermentation; the concentrated extract is a denser, contemporary version of the same species.

A 1-gram pack of Kanna 20x extract keeps that history practical. It is not a newly invented product. It is a South African succulent with a living cultural background, offered here as a precise, tea-ready concentrate for adults who stay within the recommended serving.

Ingredients of Kanna

The sole ingredient is Sceletium tortuosum, the South African succulent traditionally known as kanna. The 1-gram pack holds the 20x concentrated extract and nothing else—no fillers, no added flavours, and no other plants.

The source plant is a low-growing succulent with fleshy leaves. After drying and extraction the material is fine enough to measure accurately in milligrams. Its character comes from the whole plant rather than one isolated compound. As with other botanicals, aroma and strength can vary slightly between harvests, which is why a measured first cup is the safest way to begin.

The format is deliberately simple: one species, a 20x extract, and a serving counted in milligrams. It is intended for adults who want a calm, precise cup rather than a complex blend.

Warning
Do not use together with medicines or other stimulants. Sale and use under the age of 18 are not permitted. Do not take part in traffic during use and for 16 hours afterward. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dark place. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
